IST-EC attended the 9th IEEE International EDOC Conference (EDOC 2005)"The Enterprise Computing Conference". The EDOC Conference is the primary annual event focusing on the convergence of the paradigms, technologies and methods involved in enterprise computing. EDOC 2005 is the ninth event in the successful series of conferences, which since 1997 has brought together leading researchers, architects and practitioners from both academia and industry to discuss enterprise computing challenges and solutions.

IST-EC2 at EDOC 2005:

In an address to the conference Andrew Cameron of Maplehurst outlined the history of the IST-EC initiative, briefly described some the project¹s success stories, outlined the challenges in developing R&D partnerships across the Atlantic and described how IST-EC can assist EDOC participants in pursuing this goal. He reviewed the structure of the project focus on how its partners and partnering tools can assist the process towards successful cooperation. See http://edoc2005.ctit.utwente.nl
